The most popular topics for KS1 ansd KS2 are Science (e.g. Adaptation, Living Things, Green Plants etc.) and History (e.g. Transport through the Ages, Life in Anglo-Saxon England), but our resources can relate to many other National Curriculum Programmes of Study, e.g. KS3 PE (orienteering).
Our Education Staff are very happy to help teachers both to plan their day here and to organise activities during the class visit. Additional woodland activities - Saxon pot making, pot firing, woodland skills such as fire making and tracking can also be arranged.
A School Booking Form is available which suggests a plan for your day including a talk for up to 60 at a time (please email to check the date).
Free worksheets and other useful information for teachers are available. A selection of these is given below in Adobe PDF format, and hard copy of these and others may be requested when booking.
