Leaflets are freely available in the Information Centre on all Bentley's facilities and on other tourist attractions in the area. All four rooms have recently been refurbished and now provide interesting facts and hands-on activities for young and old.
Most mornings in the summer term one room (the Waterfowl Room) is reserved for school use but at all other times members of the public are welcome to shelter here from inclement weather. Another room demonstrates the importance of trees to man and has specific information on the species to be found at Bentley. This room accommodates up to 50 seated and may be hired by private parties. Enquire for further details.
We have disabled facilities and offer free electric wheelchairs for use on site. (Please telephone to book).
We also offer a reduced rate of entry. Click here for rates.
In the Shire Barn we have a range of skilled craftspeople working. Pieces are available to buy.
Our lovely bright and busy gift shop has a host of books and souvenirs, many relating to birds, wildlife and motor vehicles. Children will find many pocket money items and bird seed can be bought to feed the ducks.
