Gillian Lucas, the great grandaughter of Edward Lucas, a stained glas artist whose work can be seen in Westminster Abbey. Brother Paul is also an artist specialising in equestrian subjects.

Gillian works in pastel and more recently watercolour. In 1994 she became a member of the society of Women Artists. Her pastel studies were reproduced by Royals & Dixon among others. Her love of portraiture never fades and these she likes to do in pastels.

Gillian has exhibited in London at the Pastel Society, the Society of Women Artists & the Society of Marine Artists, also in Liverpool at the Medici and various local venues.
